Immers-Expo is an annual symposium on immersive research and metaverse which showcases developments in mixed reality technology in academia and industry. Shjankar gave a joint talk on Shaping Destiny project, and VR art was shared with the participants by Kostas.

Wes and Tomoko gave a joint talk about Shaping Destiny to ~80 medical sciences researchers at Oxford, and shared a prototype of the VR art.

Body Politic invited the project team to share the VR experience with the young people who starred in a prototype of the VR art at their termly sharing days.

“Your genes shape your body, but other factors influence your sense of self, relationships, and destiny. Young dancers from Oxford worked with choreographers and digital artists to interpret research on human embryo formation and medieval perceptions of the human form through immersive virtual reality art.” The Shaping Destiny project team engaged public with research and a prototype of the Shaping Destiny VR art. The project team visited the Parasol Project young people to share photos and video recordings from the Dance Sharing Day and a prototype of the VR experience in which they are featured.

Young people of both Body Politic and the Parasol Project performed in front of their families and friends.
